Getting Your Home Ready For the Spring.

This is a good time to change the filter in your heating system.

Must clean out gutters and downspouts.

Check exterior hose bibbs for leaks.

Inspect the roof for any missing shingles, make repairs if needed.

Check exterior foundation for any cracks.

Check exterior siding.

Check grade around house, all grade must be pitched away from house to
prevent water from entering house, use gravel if needed.

Wash windows and screens.

Clean decks and walkways.

Clean all vents and baseboard heat in house.

Clean out fireplaces.

If you have oil heat and possible black staining at top of chimney you
need to have your interior flue cleaned.

If grilles in home have any black staining you need to have the interior
ductwork cleaned.

Get the sprinkler system ready for turn on, checking each head to ensure
that is working properly and providing the best coverage possible to the
area and visual inspection for leaks or other problems.

Mold spores or staining on exterior of house, house needs to be
powerwashed to remove mold spores and stains.
